Job Description

-The role holder is primarily responsible for execution of Operations of Forex Merchant Deals both for Mumbai & IBU location. Meeting end to end Unit deliverables and management expectations, in line with internal and external guidelines. Suggesting process improvements to bring more efficiency and mitigate risk and ensure adherence to regulations.

- Hands on experience of Processing of Merchant Fx Deals Cash, Tom, Spot, Forwards, LTFX Knowledge deal validation, CCIL reporting, Counterparty Confirmations (both physical and SWIFT)

-Well versed with all prevalent RBI guidelines pertaining Anticipated Exposure and Contracted Exposure.

- Knowledge of processing settlements for cancellation of forward contracts; thorough knowledge of RBI guidelines on cancellation of AE and CE forward contracts.

-Knowledge of SWIFT operations, various MT messages and its relevance.

- Well versed with CCIL / CLS platforms, reporting mechanism and monitoring of reporting

-Well versed with overdue contracts monitoring, and all related regulatory guidelines

- Monitoring of overdue settlements and follow up for logical closure Thorough with the accounting schema of Merchant Fx products

-Recovering and tallying forward contract booking and cancellation charges. Processing CCIL Charges pertaining to Merchant Desk. Tallying Contingent Accounts pertaining to Fx products

- Periodic tally of GLs owned by Merchant Desk

- Keeping track of outstanding reconciliation entries pertaining to Merchant Desk . Ensures that all transactions are processed as per agreed SLAs/approved procedures and guidelines
