Marks & Spencer is conducting a Walk-in Drive for the following positions - Section Manager and Customer Service Assistant at Marks and Spencer Store, Unit No - G22, 23, 24, AUG 37, 38, 38A,Kurla Market City, LBS Marg, Kurla West,Mumbai-400070 on 18th & 19th April 2024.
JOB DESCRIPTION - SECTION MANAGER
- Responsible for the day to day running of the BU, maintaining standards, ensuring legal compliance checks on pricing etc.
- Assist in cashier training and provide support to cashiers where required.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets which have been set for the department/s and provide input when deciding the targets.
- Continually monitor the achievement of sales targets and take corrective measures where required.
- Provide clarity progress towards targets by communicating to the team the department, store and overall regional performance.
- Ensure minimization of shrinkage levels in the department, training the teams on how to handle merchandise and protect stock.
- Role model the highest standards of customer service with the team.
- Understand customer needs and build a rapport with customers.
- Manage customer complaints and queries resolving them to the best of your ability
JOB DESCRIPTION - CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT
- Ensure achievement of sales targets assigned to the store
- Ensure minimization of costs by controlling wastage, handling merchandise properly
- To avoid shrinkage in the store
- Build relationships with customers and understand customer needs and recommend products.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are adhered to and standards are maintained
- Ensure merchandise is handled correctly through the correct stock management processes
- Handle responsibility of cashiering as and when needed.
- Follow company processes and guidelines for store operating procedures
Qualification: Minimum 12th Pass/ Any Graduate
Experience: Minimum 3 year experience in fashion retail sector
