Job Responsibilities:


  1. SAP System Implementation: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of SAP modules or solutions based on the organization's requirements.
  2. Team Management: Supervise a team of SAP consultants, developers, and administrators, providing guidance, support, and ensuring efficient project execution.
  3. System Maintenance: Ensure the ongoing functionality, stability, and performance of SAP systems through regular maintenance activities, upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  4. Business Process Alignment: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, align SAP configurations with business processes, and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Customization and Development: Oversee customization and development efforts within SAP systems, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and organizational guidelines.
  6. Integration: Manage integration efforts between SAP systems and other enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across systems.
  7. User Training and Support: Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to educate employees on SAP functionality, features, and best practices. Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries, issues, and concerns related to SAP usage.
  8. Vendor Management: Collaborate with SAP vendors and service providers to procure software licenses, support services, and consulting expertise as needed. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  9. Compliance and Security: Ensure SAP systems comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and security protocols. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate security risks.
  10. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of SAP systems, analyze key metrics, and identify areas for optimization and improvement. Implement solutions to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications:


  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP certifications) are a plus.
  2. SAP Expertise: Extensive experience with SAP systems, including hands-on experience with SAP modules such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, SAP CRM, etc. Proficiency in SAP implementation methodologies, configuration, customization, and integration.
  3. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial abilities, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  4. Project Management: Proven experience managing SAP implementation projects from inception to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, budget management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.
  5. Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of SAP architecture, databases, programming languages (e.g., ABAP), and integration technologies. Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP HANA Cloud Platform) is desirable.
  6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, evaluate alternatives, and propose effective solutions.
  7. Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business processes, industry trends, and organizational dynamics. Ability to align SAP initiatives with strategic business objectives and drive tangible business value.
  8. Vendor Management: Experience managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and evaluating vendor performance.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX) and industry-specific compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
  10. Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated on emerging SAP technologies, best practices, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional development activities.
