Location: Kolkata / New Delhi

• We are looking for an experienced Legal Manager to join our team. The Legal Manager will provide legal advice and guidance, manage legal matters, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• We are looking for an ideal candidate who has a robust knowledge of corporate law, exceptional communication and organisation skills, and who can manage complicated legal issues with little supervision. Responsibilities:

• As a legal professional, you will be expected to take charge of various responsibilities such as developing, executing, and administering legal policies, procedures, and documents with utmost proficiency.
• Your research and analytical skills will be put to the test as you analyse legal issues and provide expert advice to management on the legal implications of their actions.
• In addition to this, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with confidence and clarity.
• Your legal expertise will be called upon to provide guidance to management on all legal issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• You will be expected to keep a watchful eye on changes in laws and regulations and oversee regulatory and compliance matters with a firm hand.
• When it comes to managing litigation and dispute resolution matters, you will represent the company in legal proceedings and hearings, leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the company's interests are protected.
• Building strong relationships with external legal counsel and other legal advisors will be a key element in your role.
• You will be expected to develop and manage the legal department budget with efficiency and precision.
• To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in law, at least 8-12 years of relevant experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department, excellent communication and analytical skills, a strong knowledge of legal principles and regulations, and the ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies to complex situations.
