Financial Accountant

Job Description

## Responsibilities:

- Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies/procedures.

- Conduct periodic audits to identify areas for improvement in financial processes or controls.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and management to provide necessary financial information for decision-making purposes.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports for management review.

- Perform variance analysis on budgeted vs. actual expenses/revenues and provide insights into key drivers of performance.

## Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred).

- Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role within the insurance or financial services industry.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles along with proficiency in using accounting software such as SAP or equivalent platforms.
