Design engineer (piped irrigation projects and water supply projects)

Job Description

We are hiring for Design Engineer specialized in piped irrigation projects and water supply projects with following job responsibility.

• Analysis of survey reports, maps and other topographical and geologic data to effectively plan Piped Irrigation Projects. 
• Digitization of Cadastral Village map, Georeferencing of cadastral map, Processing of Survey data (GCPs) for Contour creation, Chak and Block planning , Preparation of Chack wise Command area statement. 
• Effective alignment study and pipe network planning on topographical map using Google earth, QGIS, and AutoCAD software.
• Design Hydraulic model of Under Ground Pipeline network using Excel spread sheet and Water gem software. Alternative option studies of hydraulic components as per economical point of view. 
• Preparation of Detailed project report. Cost Estimation of different Under Ground Pipeline projects
• Design Calculations and estimation for Intake Structures, Pumphouse, outlet chamber, valve chambers, Thrust Blocks using excel spread sheet etc.

Qualification : Btech/Diploma in Civil.

Experience: 8-10 years

Place of work: Bhubaneswar

Salary : 25000/- to 50,000/- per month
