Job Description
- Calculate and design standard and special conveyor belts in accordance to customer needs
- Support sales teams in quotation process, technical check of customer requirements (Feasability)
- Coordinate product tests and approvals with internal and external partners (universities, DMT, LoBa, MSHA, etc.)
- Where appropriate, on site inspections with Technical Consulting to review product perfomance and improve product lifetime, reduce energy consumption, etc.
- provide system analysis support for belt monitoring on site and remote
- product training for sales colleagues, OEMs and other customers
- support CBG Service group on engineering and supervision of challenging belt installtions and other service jobs on site
- representation of company in standardization commitees (DIN, EN, ISO, AS, CEMA, ARPM) and interest groups (VDI, VDMA,)
- University degree in Engineering or Science (Mechanical Engineering preferred; Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering considered; advanced degree or MBA desired)
